COMPONENT HARDWARE EXPANDS SALES TEAM

Lakewood, NJ – January 22, 2013 – Component Hardware Group announces the appointment of Doug Reasoner to the position of National Sales Manager. In this role he will assume responsibility for sales of all Component Hardware brands to dealers, consultants, and end users. Before joining Component Hardware, Reasoner was a regional sales manager for Thermo-Kool Walk-In Refrigeration. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he has also worked for Singer Equipment, Marstan Industries and manufacturers’ rep companies.

Under the terms of the merger agreement, JHL will be fully integrated into Component Hardware Group. Harry Franze will retain his position as President & CEO of the combined businesses. J. Howard Levine, CEO of JHL Enterprises, will stay on in a consultant role. “From the start of our discussions it became apparent that merging our companies would provide the platform for JHL to continue its growth trend while providing Component Hardware with access to new markets,” said Franze. The merger will take effect on March 2, 2012.

The combined company will be headquartered in Lakewood and retain a warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In the near-term, the company’s main priorities will be to seamlessly unify its product lines and services. “Many evaporators in use today use old-style Calrod heating elements, which are always operating at full power and are very inefficient,” said Ed Whartnaby, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Component Hardware. “This cost-effective innovation assures customers that they are only consuming energy when absolutely necessary.”

In addition to the on-off pressure switch, Keil condensate pans utilize state-of-the-art PTC resistor heating pad technology, which utilizes a resistor wire to regulate the wattage consumed based on the temperature of the pan, further conserving energy by not constantly operating at peak wattage.

The T12 Series Condensate Evaporators come standard with a 50 fluid-ounce (1500 milliliters) cast aluminum reservoir and an 18-inch (457 millimeter) removable cord set with bare leads. Both the 160 Watt Standard Duty (4-5 fl. oz./hour evaporation rate) and 300 Watt Heavy-Duty (7-8 fl. oz./hour evaporation rate) models are available for 117/120 Volt and 220/240 Volt applications.
